A November Morning...

If you can believe it, this was taken this week. When is the last time you could take off your coat on a November afternoon and not be too cold? Decided to try a balloon photo shoot again with Leyton as the last set we tried crashed my computer! Happy to say the results were better this time (with my computer at least!). Our house has fully recovered from our sickness of last weekend, but now I seem to miraculously lost my voice...crap! Oh well, I'll keep gargling the Listerine (I swear that stuff could take paint off... so gross) and hope that it gets better!

Where I sometimes get my ideas...

These days there are so many resources for anyone looking for inspiration, help, or just plain fun toys to use in photography...I have to say sometimes the amount of information out there is overwhelming!! I've had some help lately with a couple of websites...

What I was up to last weekend...

So you'll recognize some of these girls, from a shoot that I did this summer with my friend Kendra and her dental office staff. Well they've now expanded and added some new faces so we headed out on the weekend to get some more shots of the group. They braved the chilly wind on Sunday morning, and I think we got some pretty cool shots, they were VERY good sports! Then we combo'd that with some family shots of Kendra and her family...isn't Esme just as cute as a button?? Enjoy the sneak peek!!

My Girl!

Color Challenge!

So, I have to confess. I am a total blog stalker...not just any kind of blogs though...anything to do with photography kind of blogs. Well, I've been following a couple photographers in Calgary for some time now, but they have just recently started a new blog for aspiring and (already) photographers. Their first challenge was a color challenge...as you can tell mine was pink!



Not in any particular order...my new kicks, Leyton's lamp, asleep sign on L's door, L's princess dress, the top of my beanbag laptop desk, L's spongy floor mat, my fav pink TNA sweater (and my Man hands...yuck!), L's lounge chair, L's play fridge, L's bathtup hippo toy, globe in my office, and last but not least, my canvas alphabet painting that I painted for her when she was born. All of these things really seem like nothing, but funny seeing them all together, I realize how many of them I see EVERY day!! Makes me realize how much pink I see everyday. And really makes me wonder how with all this pink in L's life her favorite color is....wait for it....PURPLE!! What??

Back from Cali...

A couple quick images as I'm now back...but just trying to catch my breath! I am trying to catch up on emails and questions first, then on to editing....I'm hoping galleries will be up by the end of the week...cross your fingers!! My girl is actually starting to like getting her photo taken...really? Only took 3 years!! haha! :)
