Holidays

I managed to drag the girls out for some photos while we were on vacation...it was a bit painful, but worth it in the end.  Here's what I got.  Once you get to the end...don't they look so happy?  Haha...

Spa Ladies...

No words required...

For Cheralyn

We've been out in the Shuswap for the last week or so, and had a chance to hang out with Cheralyn's family...minus Cheralyn.  She's back in Saskatchewan working hard, and here are some photos of her family hanging out with us.

A party!

One quick photo while we are on holidays from our "holiday party". We decided we needed to kick off ours with a little shindig.  We actually managed to get all the kids in one spot and all looking at the camera...a bigger task than it sounds.  It was a good times, thanks everybody for coming!!

Canada Day!

We had a pretty uneventful July 1st ,but we headed out to Bragg Creek to pick up Kelly on one of his biking excursions.  Leyton fell asleep on the way, and ended up sleeping on the booth seats all the way through our lunch.  Finally after we paid and left the restaurant she woke up just in time for desert.  We had some ice cream and she picked out one toy that her Dad let her get.  We get it outside and get the wrapper off to discover its a stamp!!  With permanent ink!! WHAT?  Nice pick Dad!  Anyway.  Here's what the stamps looked like, nothing that a bath and some nail polish remover can't get rid of.  Next time you see Kelly ask him about that bath too...it was an "eventful" one !  :)  Happy Birthday Canada!

Peter, Tracy, Lucas and Elliott

I've worked with Tracy at the Foothills for a bunch of years now.  I took some photos of their first son Lucas almost 3 years ago now (WOW!) and so now they are a family of four.  We've been meaning to get together for some photos of Elliott and their growing family, and we finally got it figured out.  We met up this afternoon managed to get some great shots, even outside after the rain.  Here's a sample of my favorites at first glance.  Lots more work to do.  Enjoy!

A Stagette...

My friend Erin invited me over last weekend to help her out and take some photos of her sister's stagette.  I grew up with these girls in PA so I knew it would be a good time.  Erin didn't miss a detail planning a "Sex in the City" themed party called "Jenn in the City".  The details were totally cute...a photo wall, a red carpet, signs, shirts, martini's, limo... you name it.  Jenn and Curtis are getting married in a couple weeks out at Glen Eagles, with this group its sure to be a blast!!

Today...Joanne & Chloe

I've known Joanne since just before Leyton was born.  She was one of the great gals in our baby class, and the first one in the class to have Chloe, who was a month early.  Now they are eagerly awaiting baby number two and she asked me to take some maternity/Mom and daughter photos for her.  So we headed downtown, and I'm sure the area looks familiar, but I have to say these walls are my very favorite for taking urban style photos...and I think they turned out pretty cool if I do say so myself.  These are just the first couple that caught my eye when I started editing.  Such a cool Mama and big (little) girl!!  Thanks for the fun morning guys.  Happy Canada Day!
