Baby Rebecca

I had the pleasure of meeting this little cutie this week. Its been awhile since I've been posting, and awhile since I've even picked up the camera! This was a nice return! I guess this pregnancy thing has been taking a bit out of my photography ambition! Well, we'll try and get back on the bus. Rebecca was a very good girl, gave us lots of nice awake shots, but managed to tucker out at the end and give us some sleepy shots too. I don't often include the with Mom and Dad photos, but I really liked this one with Mom. Enjoy!

What good light and couple good minutes with some kids can get you...

Can't believe how nice these shots turned out! Both of the older girls are within a month of the same age as Leyton, and I've taken photos of them both before, as well as of little Cooper. This was a 6 month shot of both him and the other little one Ella. I'm so happy with how crisp the white turned out, aren't they all cuties?? Love these!!! I think I may have to ask Melanie if I can borrow her house for all my upcoming shoots, do you think that would be okay?? :)

Birthday...took me long enough!!

Finally made it to posting Leyton's birthday. Took forever!! Here's some of the pics. Took it easy this year, no big party, headed out to Canmore for the Birthday weekend and had a great relaxing time. Some skating, some hot springing...and of course BP's for supper! Nothing but gourmet for our girl! No pictures, from the weekend, it was just relaxing...ironic though really. We had a bit of a schmoz on the morning we left, so by the time we got to the Bow Falls parking lot in Banff to go skating I was in no mood for carrying around my big camera...so what did we see as we came around the corner, only two VERY large Caribou (or elk, not sure which one) standing at the top of the toboggan hill above the skating rink, fighting, literally smashing their head and antlers (otherwise known as "anteners" by Leyton) together. Hmmm, no oppurtunities for photos missed by this girl!! Anyway, here's the BIG birthday girl.
PS if you didn't already know, big girl Leyton is going to be a big Sister!! She says she ONLY wants a sister, but I don't think she gets that she doesn't get to decide...we'll see how that goes...we'll let you know around the 4th of August ( or its anything like last time, maybe by the 15th or so!!)What else would you want to be doing on the August long weekend, but having a baby? Really?

Avery

I met this little cutie a couple weeks ago, I had taken photos of her brother Carson a couple years ago, and I have to say I just loved her little rolls. We all know I have a soft spot for anyone named Avery, I think she might be just as cute as "our Avery"! Here's a couple faves.

Miss Kennady

Met this little Miss last week in my first session since the New Year. She was lucky enough to be born on Christmas Eve. If that's not a Merry Christmas, I don't know what is!

Christmas fun!

So we had a great Holiday, so not ready to get back to real life! We started with Christmas Eve at our house, Christmas morning at Jonny and Koula's then for dinner out at Nana and Poppas. From there on Boxing day we made the trek out to Vernon to spend some time at the Kelly household with our family. What a great holiday. Here's some of the photos from Leyton's first Ski lesson at Silverstar, Skating at the pond out there with the fam and all the stinky Jersey's that Steve found lying around...sweet Commodore 64 jersey on him. It was a great time, then we headed back to Calgary for New Year's and have been recovering from all the fun ever since. Looking forward to all the new things in 2010!!

The Gingerbread House!

Last week I was working nights, so Leyton and I had a chance to do some Christmas fun crafts. Here's our beautiful gingerbread house. I'm surprised there's any candies left on it, she was pretty intent on eating as many as she could before they got on the house!! Turned out alright!!

Winding down...

So I'm finally starting to wind down on my Christmas photos for the year...whew, that was a bit of a hectic couple months, but I've made it through. Here is the last set I did, you've seen this family before. Cooper is already almost 4 months old...wow, time goes quickly!

Grey Cup and Photos!

Last weekend we headed over to Reid and Erin's to watch some Grey Cup action (poor Saskatchewan...) but we snuck out before hand to get a couple photos for their Christmas Card this year. Here they are...what a cute fam!
