Fall Sessions take two!! (First half)

A couple weekends ago I did a marathon day of photos to try and get everyone in for their Fall photos before all the beautiful colors disappeared...and to get ready for CHRISTMAS CARD SEASON! My favorite time of year. I have to say that I do love taking photos, but I think I love slotting them into card templates even more. For some reason every time I come home to a box at my door I am so excited to open it up and see how they all turn out! This year is no exception, the colors on the last weekend in September were amazing, to say the least. We were down at Sandy Beach for the day (with a small break mid day for Kelly to bring Logan to me for a feed), then on to the afternoon. Here is a sneak peek at the first 4 sets of photos from the morning...more to come with the afternoon later on!

Fall Sessions take one...

This session got rained out last weekend, but finally this week we got some great weather! You've seen these two boys before, can't believe how fast they are growing up, doesn't seem too long ago I was taking photos of Ian the older one when he was a couple months old! Here's a couple as a sneak peek.

Took Leyton out today to help me scout out the light for my photo sessions for this weekend, here's a couple that I liked...such a model (when she'll actually let me take a picture of her!!). Looking forward to my busy Sunday!!

First day of (Pre) School!

Last Thursday was Leyton's first day of school and she was VERY excited! (As was I) Here is a pic before we headed out!

Fall Photo Sessions

Like last year, I am heading out to do two sets of mini sessions (Sunday September 19th and 26th) to try and fit everyone in for some holiday photos. If anyone is interested shoot me an email as the times are starting to fill up... rumorhasitphoto@me.com. It was a blast last year, and I had the so much fun getting everyone's holiday cards ready. She made it!!!

Well, she decided to take her time, but she has finally arrived. Logan Sarah Balint was born on August 9th ( 5 days late!) at 5:35 pm at 8 lbs 8 oz. We had a long night and day of labour, but made it through and got home before she was 24 hrs old, yay! I hate staying in the hospital, especially in a shared room! We've been home for a week now and seem to be settling in at least a bit. Logan seems to be a good baby so far, so cross your fingers that it continues. More photos to come soon, she's already had her first photo shoot, I'm sure you're not surprised!

Sometimes it just happens!

I'm still going through my photos from when we were in BC on holidays and this photo didn't look like anything special, but I think now it may be one of my favorites from the summer. The sun was just setting and it just happened to shine right on her and there seems to be a bit of shadow all around, without even edit that lighting!! I love the way she's grasping the daisies, and that look on her face is so classic her! It just makes me love it! Its definitely not technically perfect, since her legs are cut off etc... but I think its my new fave of my L. Hope you like it as much as I did, maybe I'll even give you a taste in B & W and color!!

Beck

I got out this past week to take photos of Beck, I love that name! I took photos of his older brother Joshua over three years ago, and it was so nice to see him again, and meet his little brother. He was so excited to show Leyton his trains, and man he had alot of them!! I think he is a tad bit excited to have a little brother...can you tell from the first photo? I have to say I was thinking this shoot wouldn't happen because I would have had our baby by now, but no such luck!! Hopefully soon, until then, enjoy these!!

The latest...

We headed out to BC for a couple days to try and squeeze in a bit of "holiday-ing" before this baby comes, and as usual I snuck in at least one photo shoot with my girl, couldn't resist the Super Beetle. Lots more photos to edit, but here's a couple. The last one is of L in a canola field back here in Calgary. Cheralyn took some back in PA of her girls and G'ma and G'pa so I thought we should get some matchers of L.
