Last week was a bit of a whirlwind with work, Leyton's birthday, a work trip to Banff, and a Leyton's second birthday party. The last couple photos are from her actual birthday, I tried to make it a bit special so we had a crave cupcake with two candles before I jetted off to Banff for the night. The rest of the pics are from the party on Sunday. The paper on the wall is to go with the Finding Nemo "theme", the kids were supposed to color on the paper on the wall that represented either the aquarium or the ocean from Nemo, and the construction paper fish are from the fishing game that I made up, that was a hit for about 3 minutes, right before all the small children were screaming, either because they wanted to fish next or they didn't want someone else to go next. Needless to say there were almost a couple eyes lost, but we got the fishing rods (aka a wooden dowel with a stick and a paper clip) away from them before there were too many casualties.
