Playing around

Some pics with Mom & Dad from fooling around with the camera yesterday. It was a really lazy day around our house, it was kinda rainy out and we took fool advantage and stayed in for most of the day and veg'ed. Thought these were cute!

Photo Session: Sarah

I took my second set of photos of Sarah, who I saw last when she was just about a month old. ( I just looked back and it was almost exactly a year ago that we took her photos, she was one of my first posts!) She's such a cute little girl now, she sure can move around. I'm sure she keeps her Mom and Dad very busy!! It was a beautiful day so we did some photos inside and out. Enjoy!

Wedding Party!!

We were at our friends Dave and Jen's wedding reception at the Banff Springs this weekend (beautiful by the way!!) and here are just a couple snaps from the party. I did have a couple glasses of wine in me while taking some of these so I apologize if they are not all the best quality, but we don't get out to party all night without Leyton very often. Thanks to Nana Lois for looking after Leyton on Friday night.

A couple I forgot...

I took these a couple weeks ago...before the ponytail pics, but forgot to post them, so....here they are. It was a nice day out in the back yard, so why not some photos?? Is there ever a bad time?

Leyton's First....Ponytail!!

I've been thinking of doing this with Leyton's hair for awhile now, but always thought that she wouldn't have enough hair to do it. But I finally bit the bullet and tried to get the pony tail holder to stay in her hair, and it did!! Yah, I know it looks a little ridiculous, but I thought cute at the same time!! She's starting to get her butt in the air as you can see to think about crawling...yikes!! She's also almost getting the hang of sitting up on her own, but still is a little tipsy.

Just of note... Leyton isn't really walking or anything yet. This was about a 2 second pose. She's seems impressed with herself though!

Summer Holidays!

So, we spent last week in Salmon Arm for our summer holidays. It was a beautiful week with 30 degree temperatures, cool water and blue skies. And we soaked up every minute of it! We did alot of wakeboarding, skiing, knee boarding and tubing, and had the aches and pains to prove it. After just the first day, we could hardly walk or turn our heads (I still think we all got a bit of whip lash from that damn wakeboard). I have to admit I wasn't too good at taking alot of photos, this is pretty much just one of our trips out on the water. I must have been feeling like I was on holidays from photography too!! :) Enjoy!

Erin &... I think I can see some eyes poking out there, oh yah.. Leyton!

Kelly with his locks blowing in the wind

Reid, getting some "huge" air on the knee board

Leyton really seemed to enjoy the boat. We'd strip her down so she didn't get too hot, lather her up in sun screen and put on her hat and lifejacket and she'd be asleep in no time. The hum of the boat seemed to lull her to sleep. All in all it was a great first "family" vacation. Thanks to Jonny and Koula for the digs, and to Reid and Erin for coming out and making sure Kelly didn't get to bored bing stuck with just me! Hehe! :)

Photo Session: The Boys

Trying to get three boys together to get a photo proved to be quite the challenge, but I think we did it, at least for a couple quick shots. I think we ended up getting some pretty good shots of the boys, and got a couple of the smallest one himself. Enjoy!
